Ok, im trying to watch that the Milan to Sanrimo and so far its been on for 35 minutes and theres only been 5 mins of cycling on, and for the last 20 mins there has been Watts net on.
They should get Sky to cover it or ITV 2/3/4.

The race was delayed, there was other live sport on. Filler required hence WATTS

This coverage is all over the place.... Live footage shown of the front, and a chase group shown standing still?

A read of the race reports will reveal all. Early season can be a time when patience is required, and some understanding of the weather and racing. It ain't like footy, in a neat little bracket, this is real live action with all the issues for you to see. Like snow blocking part of the route and a transfer mid-race for frozen riders to by pass the blockage, then the 7 minute lead break being started with the same advantage. It all happened today!

Wasn't that long ago that ITV only showed an hour of highlights per week during the Tour de France (despite holding the live broadcast rights for the grand tours and most of the classics!)

Eurosport has at least always shown cycling and usually when it gets shifted about the schedule it tends to be as a result of race scheduling like happened today.

I've learnt my lesson from last year. Record the program before, the program after, record on Eurosport, record on Eurosport HD, record the repeat in the evening, don't turn the box off when leaving for work.

I usually screw up on the last one,

I record the highlights that tend to be later on if not late at night so it should not be affected and it still happens though.

i'd love sky to take over the broadcasting of the TDF at least we would see some cycling from start to finish, decent analysis and great camera angles and footage. it would bring the tdf upto a whole new level, like they have done for the masters golf and the ryder cup.

yup i'm a sky fanboy, cause they are good at what they do - EVEN the cycling team do an half decent job too
