After the soaking I got last year I think you could be right. There's a 100 mile ride from Kelling to Hunstanton later in the month, which may get my vote of this Sunday.

As long as it's ok when I have to leave the house I can convince myself it'll be fine. I'm doubting whether I can manage it in 6 hours though, not a chance of 5, looks like I'll be getting wet before the end B)

Not done it before, but my number is 1467, so I guess that's some indication.

Given that the 50 joins part of the route, it's quite a busy event I'd say.

turnout is in the region of 2000 but more than half do the 50 mile route

on the 100 mile route it's easy to spend long periods of time without seeing another rider!
