Glad I read your post, just assumed Norwich ride was on sunday why the change? Will make my mind up nearer the time which one or may do both.

the Norwich 100 is usually on a Sunday - don't know why they changed to Saturday - could be any number of reasons!

I'm normally on 5 1/2 hour pace if you want to join me?

You might also be interested in the Hethersett 60 ride in March if you live near Norwich

I'm probably looking at 7.5hrs so wouldn't want to slow you down, but if you see a big bloke struggling on a green Condor do say hello!

Thanks for posting the link. Its one we plan to do. Trying to find if there is a 50 mile option for hubby, he seems totally daunted by the whole 100 mile thing. He will probably be back on dialysis by then so training might be tricky for him.

I won't mention the 25 mile option to him at all. I might be a bit mean but he will only exercise when he has a goal in mind so I don't want to let him off too easily.

I did the norwich 50 (the younger brother of the norwich100) last year and it was a really good laugh. I'll be signing up for the next one....might even do the 100 (eek!)

Sounds like a good event, hoping I've not taken on too much!!!!
Will probably be averaging 12/13mph, if that isn't too slow for people, it might be good to get a small group together.

if your riding speed will average 12mph, by the time you throw in a few breaks you'll be on 10+ hour pace. Perhaps do some more training and increase your speed or consider the 50 mile route this time.

Hi there, I've signed up. I got my pack through the post this week. My start time is 07:05 though! I'm looking for new people to ride with. My mate has also signed up but I don't know his start time. I reckon it will take me about 6.5 hours. I've only been cycling since May '12.

I've chosen to ride in this event as a training goal for 2013, and to raise a bit of money. It will be my first 100 mile ride and with less than a fortnight away im getting a bit nervous about it

I'm hoping to get round in 7 hours of riding, plus breaks - Does anyone know where in Sheringham the halfway stop is? I have some friends who are holidaying nearby and they'd like to see me en-route.

I'm signed up for the 100, my 1st century, I'm hoping for 5.5hrs but sensibly I'm looking at 6hrs. Anyway, I'm number 133 on a black Ridley, if you see me say Hi or give me a push whichever seems more appropriate at the time.

^^ Winston - last year the Sheringham stop was in the High School which is just as you come into the town (from the north). I would guess that it will be the same this year.
