normal looking spd shoes...

I have a pair of the Stelvio's. They are great shoes but aren't ventilated at all, so my feet get very hot and sweaty on warmer days. The perforations around the front of the shoe look like ventilation but the holes don't go all the way through. I have been thinking of turning the holes into ventilation and then buying another pair for when its wet.
Now I have seen them at a lower price I will definitely buy a second pair.

No, I will be looking out for a really cheapo pair from Aldi/Lidl to replace my current pair, which are wearing out.

Anyway, I am yet to do a walking and cycling holiday so I don't need footwear which will do both. TBH, I'd rather buy separate walking boots and cycling shoes anyway.
