Hi all, recently fitted a new wheelset, bottom bracket and chain to my bianchi. All seemed to go well but I notice some rather annoying sounds when I'm at either extreme of the cassette. The chain doesn't seem to run smoothly. I can't think why fitting a few new parts would cause this, the cassette doesn't look worn

Any ideas?

Did you set up your front mech at the same time as the rear? Is the chain catching on the front mech cage when at the extremes?

I would suggest you check your rear mech travel limit adjustment screws.
It seems that the cage isn't moving far enough over at the top and bottom ends.

The 'b' stop screw needs loosening IMO to get the mech closer to the cassette which will improve shifting (although you havent asked for that!) otherwise its a case of adjusting. Always start at the bottom and get the mech running smooth without cable tension ie using the limit screw and then go from there.
