No Best Bike

Even though I have only really had two bikes at any one time, one of those has always been an obvious Best Bike. Not in a sense that it doesn’t get used, but one that jumps out as a most desirable favourite.

Since getting the latest bike, I can no longer decide which is my Best Bike anymore. Each bike has its place and I like them equally. I find this really odd tbh.

Does everyone else like their bikes equally or do you still have your favourites?

I'm in the same boat.......the Ti used to be the best bike as it was etap, but now the cube rigid mtb is also electric di2. But both have their time and place to be used.

Well ... I have the bike with everything attached and working, the one with no saddle or stem, and the one with no bottom bracket or back wheel. It makes this question easy for me.

I'm in the same boat depending on which way the wind is blowing. My current favourite is my cheapest bike. Go figure.

Each of mine is best at a particular 'job', I used to just pick the one that was best at whatever I needed it to do.

I've only got one properly usable bike at the moment, so this doesn't arise. However, I once had several good basses to choose from, and I always felt I'd betrayed the ones that didn't get gigged...So now I have one really good bass, and a beater as backup, and there's no argument in my head. And I'll be doing the same with the Norco hybrid. Will do it up, and it'll be the beater. Or will it? Muttermuttermutter...

Both my bikes are Ti. My Van Nicholas is used for longer leisure rides. My Planet X is used mainly for the commute and touring.
Love them both.

Does your best bike have to be the most expensive?

No. As above, my beater bass is actually a very good bass. It WAS the main bass at one point....and still gets a set every so often.
