Shame it was a women. If it had been a bloke... at least you could have given him a good slap. Owners are the problem not the dogs.imho

when i was out walking once a dog came up and bite so i grab it pinned it down and bit it back on its ear . i think the owner was to shocked to say anything or thought i was a nutter but he walked away rather fast with telling he should keep his dog under control in future

There was a yorkie on my street growing up. chained in the front garden of a house,
It used to run so fast at you that it almost got pulled onto it's back by the chain

One day it had slipped it's chain and bit my elderly next door neighbour so he vollied it back towards the yard putting it above head height

It never barked at him again.
