I toyed with the idea of pulling out, but eff it, I think the stretch will hopefully do me some good. Setting off at 10.30 to be around Southbank for 11. Will grab a small can of beer to slug while I puff away and wait for the masses to rank.

And for those who don't know, the easy way to the westbound platforms (and the ticket office & machines) is as follows. Back to the main road (Tower Parade) from the Waterfront. Turn left then immediately right onto Northwood Road. Then take the third turning on your right, Castle Road. All the way down, till you go over the (hint hint) railway bridge. Take the first right (The Bridge Approach) and keep going until you reach the station, up on your right. For those who need a map, here.

There is an easier alternative.

Turn right in front of the station.
Proceed along Railway Avenue
Left into Cromwell Road
Left into Stream Walk cycle path which takes you under the railway line.
The first left after that offers access to WHI.
The second left after that offers stair-free access to WHI.
Have a safe and enjoyable ride all peeps.
