I'm interested in this. I do the Isle of Wight 100KM Randonnee every year in May and its thoroughly enjoyable. The island is fairly lumpy, I don't recall any flat sections in fact.

Oh and if you need a route we could follow the Randonnee route which I will have on my Garmin / Strava page somewhere I'm sure.

Quite a few of us have already done the Randonnee route. There seems some interest upthread in trying something a bit different and I believe FD already has something in mind.

We are most definitely not doing the standard round the island route (as the Randonnee does). Apart from the detour we'll be taking down to the Needles, taking advantage of the A roads being much quieter means much better road surfaces on the southern side, plus more actual coastline.

Unfortunately if it goes ahead on the 14th, I'm out as I'm on call. As ever, don't move it to account for that as on call shifts around randomly.
