Well done, my good Lady is forever buying stuff for our Granddaughter, we've got almost as many toys in the house as when our lads were small.

Same here. Unfortunately it didn't stop the little darlings picking unripe raspberries and putting them in the bird bath on Saturday.

My niece has just won the 50m butterfly at the ASA National Swimming Championships 13/14 year age group!!!

And one year on she was 3rd in the same race & age group, but won the 100m backstroke for 13/14 year age group with a time that would have got silver in the 15 year age group.

One very proud uncle (and part sponsor!).

Sorry if this sounds like boasting, but I'm now the uncle of a double gold medalist. Dead heat with her teamIpswich swim club team mate in the 13/14yr age group 50m freestyle.

I've foolishly promised my sister that if my niece wins a third title, I'll buy her a new race suit - they're over £200

First round of Australian sourdough made. Cooked in the pizza oven because my own isn't yet clean enough 2 large loaves and 1 small. Complete success except for them slightly collapsing whilst I carried them from the sun room where they had been proofing to the pizza oven whilst is wood fired and outside some distance from the house with the outdoor entertainment area...
