New wheels?

Santa might have been kind enough to chuck 400 quid at me and I might have been excited enough to consider spending it on some nice wheels and tyres for me road bike build... Like the look of the fulcrum racing 3 and maybe some hot continentals..

Anyone who can help with ideas how to accidentally blow my Xmas present? Thanks. BB

Just remember when upgrading its more important to be aero than it is to save weight when it comes to wheels...

Speak ye from experience? BB
Yes  these beauties replaced Fulcrum 5s (more spokes needed)

What bike are the wheels going on? Granted the traditional look may not be so good on a lairy carbon number

OP mentioned Fulcrums and later Cosmics. One can deduce they ride a road bike from that and if they are travelling over 5mph usually aero is better than lightweight. To save the extra weight I'd reccomend a quick poo before setting off.

I still think that Shimano Ultegra 6800 wheels are great - reasonably light, strong, serviceable, not too expensive, tubeless ready and a near silent freehub.
