Why not? I thought they were supposed to be bombproof.
They probably are . . but ive been up some of the cobbled sections already and I think I should be using a mountain bike rather than the carbon road bike!

Looking forward to your review of them if you could,I didn't want to pay that much as I'm looking at Sciroccos but the talk of the zondas now have me undecidedI ended up cancelling the German ones as I got a stock alert email from wiggle and they arrived within 2 days.
Will be fitting them Monday as I have a cobbled sportive on Sunday and don't want to use them for that
That's exactly my thinking put into an answer thanks ,I won't prob go above that budget tooUpdate
I fitted the Zondas last week. Managed to do it all myself and it was suprisingly easy. I changed the cassette and swapped the GP4000 tyres off my stock giant defy wheels. Tyres went on quite easy as well which was a bonus.
First ride out on Saturday was a 60 miler on a new route that totalled 5000ft of climbing. We were with a slower friend so the speed was kept down but we did hit some quite big hills. I could tell the difference straight away on the hills and now get what all the reviews say about feeling more of the power you put on the pedals transferred to the wheel. I dare say that on a proper route keeping a normal pace that i would find the average speed creeps up as well.
Overall im pleased with them. Im never going to be a speed deamon and this will most likely be the most expensive set of wheels i every buy, but im pleased i brought them and i think if id have gone for a cheaper wheelset i would of always wondered what the zondas were like and ended up buying them eventually
