New Wheels - Fulcrum 3 < Now Zondas

Very excited at the moment. Just pulled the trigger on some Fulcrum 3 wheels from 4thebike.de

These are the first set of wheels ive purchased that havnt come with the bike new. They are going to replace the Giant PR-2 wheels on my Giant Defy Composite . .

I was going to get the zondas for £220 but my bike is blue and white and the red would have clashed!

they do have red on them. On the hubs and rims.

Only a tiny tiny bit from what i can tell whereas the zondas have loads of red on. The rest look mainly black // white

It's your own taste that matters. I'm only saying coz they are decorated much like my Fulcrum R5s that I got a couple of years ago, and these clash badly with my black white n grey Giant, despite the fact that I took off the main decals from the wheels. Those hubs in white with red badges really stand out.

They look great on my steel bike, though!

You couldnt break them as they are just peel off stickers....very easy to remove

But enjoy the fulcrum 3's anyhow

I've cancelled and ordered the zondas

Cant really use them until next week though. I have the tour of the black country on Sunday with 19 cobbled sections and im not using these on them!

I might actually go R3 on next wheels, as that would retain the colour scheme on the bike I have my R5s on!
