New wheels for an Islabike 700?

I've just bought a secondhand Islabike Luath 700 for my daughter which has cyclo cross ( I think) tyres at the mo.

These will be great for standard use and a lit off roading but she also hopes to do some track racing.

Rather than change tyres 4 times a week which really doesn't appeal to me someone has suggested buying 2 new wheels and tyres.

This pressumably means buying the cog thing ( cassette I think it's called.)

Islabike say this will cost just over £110 for a front wheel, rear wheel, cassette, tyres and inner tubes + p&p.

Does this sound about right or could I source them cheaper independently?

It has 700 35s at the mo.

Thanks for any advice.

That's a good price that you'd be pushed to beat but when you say track racing, what kind of track do you mean? A bike with gears and brakes would not be allowed on a track of the velodrome type.

If she wants to use it for road riding think carefully about the range of gears on the cassette that you buy.

Hi Globalti, sorry I probably used the wrong terminology.

It is riding around a track like at UCLan sports arena or at Salt Ayre Leisure Centre, doing time trials etc.

Not ready for a velodrome yet.

Well it's a good price, go for it unless you want to upgrade to a better wheel and tyre altogether; the Islabike wheels are a little "entry level" although perfect for the job.
