Not a very civil or helpful response,the only "magic wand " I would wish for is one to stick up your back side.

Carbon , aluminium or steel ?

Well Doug if the answer had been yes I would have told you that you may be disappointed, for sure new shiny light wheels may make a difference, but maybe by not as much as you are hoping for.

fulcrum Quattro's have brilliant reviews and tried them myself ...They look good & great value for money :-)

Cheers for the reply. Got some cash from Christmas and unsure what to spend on yet. Wheels seem too expensive in order to gain over my stock set it seems.

the stock wheels on my defy 3 are not as good as my fulcrum r5s. BUT, theyre not signifcantly worse. and the stock ones on your defy 1 are better than the ones on mine. so i would guess that getting a 200 quid wheelset wont make much difference.

That was my logic too. Will hang back a bit and see how I go with the stock set. Pointless shelling out to be pretty much where I am now. Cheers for your reply.
