New user, New Bike, New Life

Hi there everyone.

This is my first post as a new user. This weekend I have gone to my lbs and told the chap to get me in a Cube Acid 2009 for next weekend. This is a big step for me and in my life.

This coming Thursday is my 1yr anniversary of giving up smoking. With not even a hint of wanting to go back I am ready to put those many years of huffing and puffing behind me and train on my bike for the "Round the Harbours" bike ride. I know it may seem easy for most of you but its a start for me and I really am totally psych'd about it and cant wait.

So thats my story and I hope to be speaking to some of you soon.

Thank you everyone for the replies. Some good advice there.

Well since giving up smoking I have started a new band so always in a recording studio = ££££

Built a new monster of a pc with all the trimmings and neon lights = ££££

Live in an amazing apartment = ££££

and getting a new expensive mountain bike = ££££

So is smoking cheaper... You might be right hehehe.
