I've been riding my Woodrup steel touring bike on the club rides and doing fine. I turned up for a big ride last week and from the looks I got you would think I had turned up on a penny farthing. Everyone was nice though and it didn't bother me. I did mention to my husband how it would be nice to have a road and a touring bike as the racing itch has started to creep back in, and maybe next year I would start saving up for a new one after I have paid off a few bills.

That evening a bike came up for sale locally - a Trek Pilot 2.0 WSD, being sold by one of the girls I know from the club who is upgrading. Originally bought last year, done about 500 miles, about 1/2 the cost of a new one, mint condition and in my size. The only way I could buy it would be to sell the Woodrup and I really didn't want to part with it...... my husband went behind my back and bought it for me as an early anniversary present. I got it today - I am so excited!!!

I'll use it on dry days and the Woodrup for winter/wet days. Pink!! Yay!!!

Nice looking bike!
You need to rotate the bars around a bit. It doesn't look like you can safely use the brakes on the hoods or in the drops.
Sometimes people rotate them like that because they find if it is further down then it's too much of a stretch, if that is the case then get a shorter stem.

To my eye WSD bikes usually look out of proportion, esp with 700c wheels, but that doesn't.
It looks luvly.
I wish you many many happy miles.
