I had both these bikes on my shortlist last year - and ended up with this : http://www.konaworld.co/bike.cfm?content=zingdeluxe (after the dealer agreed to do it for £1000). Of the two, I think I'd go for the Secteur, because it suits my preference for longer rides - I'm not a racer and I think the Wilier may be more race-oriented.

Big difference in gearing on those two. Spesh has Sram Apex with the massive 32 tooth cog on the rear cassette, great if you do a lot of hill climbing .The Willier has a more conventional compact with 34 front and 25 rear in the lowest gear.

I like the look of the willier but would quite like having the Sram Apex on the spesh for getting up big hills when tired.

All depends on your type of riding.

Either bike would be on my shortlist if I had a grand to spend.

PS Tredz have some 2010 spesh secteur Elites with 105 triple groupset on for £749 My link
