Well done for taking this project on.
They were a teriffic bike in their day and still are.Why not post pictures of the progress as you go on(If you have time).We have lost so many classic names and a lot have been skipped by people who didnt know what they had or had found.Thes old bikes marked good old engineering..​

Well we delivered this yesterday :biggrin: He seemed quite pleased - He didn't actually recognise it as his old bike at first though!

Here she is :biggrin: Turned out quite nicely. VERY smooth ride, it has made me want a steel frame :ohmy: (ignore the angle of the bars in that photo!)

Seemed to enjoy riding it again . . . might need better footwear than slippers though.

You will have to look for another project now,perfect timing for the long winter nights that are looming fst

Beautiful job, seeing the bike in the flesh, I dont think this is a Flyer now. Possibly a Catalina or one of the derivatives of that model.

Hehe aye. The Mrs and I have had many debates about it, hence the lack of model name on the top tube :biggrin:
