What a combo!
After getting used to riding on skinny tyres I became a bit more confident and was putting more power down until the standard pedals on my bike weren’t really up to it and i kept slipping out of the toe / feet straps, so got myself some shoes and SPD pedals, Love them!! So far no falling over but i know its coming! Pushing and pulling is just the only way forward.
So far so good....no, 4 punctures in 3 days!...could not for the life of me figure out what was going on but then did some searching about and the standard tyres that came with my bike were pitiful! So did a good check over and they were riddled with holes and uneven ware (Only had the bike a few months)...So back into the wallet and got some Continental Ultra GatorSkin Road Tyres...First ride in and they are super tight and i feel a lot more confident in them thus being able to focus more on traffic and cycling. Defo a winning combo!
