Might be a daft question but what is the red spoke?

Trick of the light? On the bottom pic it looks silver, like the rest...?

Although the spoke next to the valve does look a bit red on the second wheels, imho (in 2 pics anyway).

Yes the 1st lot of pics, although i am now looking for a red spoke on the 2nd set

It's nothing more than Mavic's particular colour scheme for the Ksyrium SL wheelset at the time. Looks quite good, though!

In an ideal world.....

The Time cage came with the frame, but as with many of these ultra expensive flimsy carbon cages it is not really up to the job of holding onto bottles in Paris Roubaix, or our own even worse roads; and I can't see it surviving much general use either. Obviously I have no intention of wasting money on another one, so as and when it breaks, or bottle jettisoning frequency gets too high, it will be replaced with something better. In the meantime, I can live with the mismatch.
