I bought a yellow Carnac one ostensibly for use on the ebike keeping my white/silver Bell one for use with my white road bike, subject to either not getting a soaking. However ebiking with normal work clothes on and now a thick coat with hood up the Carnac one simply would not sit right, the straps being shorter than the Bell one.

I know what you mean, some tend to bulge out and make you look like the Mekon. The Specialized Airnet is a bit sleeker and I find it very comfortable, certainly better than the Giro I had;

They are cheaper than that, down to £13, and very good at that. I bought an XC helmet at £15...

My Scott helmets and hubbies Bontrager are quite neat, the old Giro one’s were hideous and bulbous.
Just wear shades and nobody will recognise you
