Picked up the Trek today and took it for the first spin. Love it! May need to get a rucksack as the bottle cage only fits a teeny bottle because the frame is so small. Apart from that I can't stop smiling.

Nice!

Hold back on the rucksack maybe. Topeak do an adapter which repositions the cage so a big bottle may fit https://www.singletrackbikes.co.uk/...9EmPu-s8SbCc7elHEJwxfTX5kcdNZsxRoCsBYQAvD_BwE

I have had a snack stop on the log in picture two and I have had a puncture at the place in picture 3. It’s a notorious site for dumping including glass.

You are perfectly located for rides along the Colliers Way into Radstock and beyond. And you probably know about the NCN route to Longleat house/forest. Pen Sel Wood and Horningsham. Lovely part of the World.

Aha, that Topeak solution is something I haven't seen before. Thank you! There are some really beautiful rides around here. I confess to carrying my bike around that log due to the amount of broken glass there. Though today there were no abandoned mattresses which made a pleasant change!

I have been researching rucksacks recently too. The one I am saving up for is the Osprey Raptor 14. I want/need/must have the reddish one. It matches your bike too, but that might be too obsessive for your taste. I think they do ladies versions and they also do a 10l size. Lots of colours.

I definitely need it to be red! I've been looking at the Osprey Talon 22 but Vickster's Decathlon idea looks good.
