New Glasses - but which lens is best for winter?

I've just bought a pair of BBB Impact glasses that come with 3 lens options.

Tinted for sunny days as is usual, but also clear and yellow.

I plan to commute all winter, and I guess would use the yellow lens to brighten light levels on dull days - but wondered what they'd be like in the dark?

What does everyone else do?

Do you use the yellow option - or maybe you just stick with the clear?

Yellow is the best all round option by far (IMHO). It accentuates contrasting colours and I even find it lifts my mood. I think the amount of light cut out by them is so close to zero as not to matter TBH.

I agree about the effect on mood - I stopped wearing reactolite lenses because if the weather was even slightly overcast they made the world look a really depressing place.

Yellow for all conditions other that bright sunlight, then tinted.

At night it helps reduce dazzle from oncoming cars and makes them all look French.

+3 for yellow

I use them all year around for commuting , good enough for bright days and they also protect against headlight glare without making it any darker to make a difference.
