The DSG gearbox from VAG is superb, best I've ever used.

Continuing the ugly new car theme. I am waiting for delivery of my new car, although I will barely drive it as I prefer to cycle. The company dictate that it must have at least 5 seats and be less than 3 years old, so I always lease whatever I can find that is cheap but also fits a bike or 3 in the back. This time around I have one of these:

It's pretty ugly, although fairly uncommon. A 7 seater built on the Mini platform. I hope the wife is happy as her car is being sold to make way for it and we will continue a one car family.
