Help!!! i need to replace my crank set & i'm really struggling to find what i need. I have a giant defy 4 2014 with a compact double chain ring (50/34), 8 speed, 175mm crank arm and a 110mm bottom bracket with square taper ends. I'm looking for a like for like replacement and i really cannot find what i need.
If somebody could point me in the right direction i would be most grateful. I have been to my LBS and they were no help what so ever.

A fraction shorter crank arm but I doubt you would tell the difference.
Why on earth do you need to replace it already?

My bottom bracket went after 2000 miles and the drive side was total stuck on. I took it to my LBS and they couldn't get it off so i had to take a hacksaw to it to get it off so i could measure the bottom bracket to get a new one. I've got the bottom bracket sorted now but i was struggling to find a crankset.

2000 miles is nothing.A bb shouldnt have failed. Was it not up for a warranty replacement?
I have a defy 3 and have covered several thousand miles and its as new.

BBs weren't under warranty when I last worked in a bike shop. Awful really. Classed as perishable item. He would have been told 2k miles is a good innings. Buy a new one. I should think anyway

Classed as perishable item.
I can agree and accept that myself, but the chainset not coming off after 2000 miles suggests the bike was poorly assembled. I would not have accepted this so readily:ninja:

I've removed chainsets from old knackered bikes that have never been maintained in anyway shape or form. I'm not saying they're always easy, but with an almost new bike like this the cranks should have popped off IMO.

@JasonHolder, THIS one is 175mm
