Good info thanks mate!
I have DT Swiss RA 2.0 wheels with FSA energy brakes. I use the bike in all weathers.
Thanks again.
Better quality rims and brakes than I've used for some years. Expensive but take a look at the Swiss Green. They're a bit kinder on rims than the cheaper Kool Stop Salmon or Dual Compound which I'm now using.

My bike came with Tektro Oryx Cantilevers fitted, and with the original pads I had trouble stopping. Swapped for Kool Stop dual compound and lifted the back wheel off the ground. The Swisstop pads would certainly have done the same.

I was dissapointed by the durability of swisstop pads, and koolstop weren't that much better on that front, they did brake better and left the rims cleaner than the previous ultegra pads though. I'm currently using the Wiggle's own brand Wiggle but they've not been used in the wet yet or for long enough to comment on them, just a dry 181 miles Tour of Flanders, a dry 91miles Welsh Forum ride and a dry 67 mile round Cambridgeshire/ Northamptonshire.

I think they are the ones i had read about. Around £20-£25?
yep - I have them as well and am really impressed with them. Done about 3,500km on the current set and there is still plenty of life in them yet - reckon around another 2,000-3,000km from the fronts, more from the rears. (I have the greens on my bike - been out all winter and no issues. I have the swisstop blue pads on my touring bike for the CSS rims and they are excellent as well - got 7,000km out of the first set & the 2nd set have now done 7,500km and still going strong).
