Excellent. You are now Tribanese :becool:

Hope you have many miles of happiness...don't worry if you have problems in the first few weeks with shifting. Cable stretched v quickly on mine but just needed a bit of fettling to get it sorted (by the lbs - I'm not great at anything mechanical)

The triban`s are highly rated, i would buy one if i were in the market for a commuter/winter bike as they offer the best equipment for the price !

Take your time buying all the kit- you may find the more you ride you'll change your mind on what you need/ what spec it has got, other than that- enjoy!
i was gonna buy all the main stuff at the same time but because some of the clothes was on sale i bought the clothes couldn't just buy the clothes without the bike and helmet and i need some mudguards too and once i start doing extremely long distances get lighter wheels

Good idea with the wheels...Spoke went on the back wheel last wheel and the rim failed leading to a rather banana shaped wheel and a long walk home (couldn't even turn the wheel with the brake disengaged). put a set of Shimano r500s on and feels like a new bike!

I'd say the only kit that is essential is a good pump and a puncture kit.

I'm afraid the curse (and joy) of being a cyclist is that you'll never feel you have all the gear you need
