New bike soon...

Yes it is confirmed, I am off looking for a new bike tomorrow as I have got the day off!

I've been helped by some CC'ers here (with special thanks to crackle and apl1950) in building up a list of possibles. At the moment, I am probably most interested in a Kinesis Racelight T or TK which would be usable on my commute, but also allow me to (maybe) keep up on CC rides.

I will not be buying tomorrow of course, but it's a start.

Wish me luck!

All I got this morning was a new fridge freezer.

I know it's a tough life.

I reckon the Kinesis could be the one. The more I look at it, the more I think I'd like one. Might even get a frame in the future and build one up (more dreaming).

Aye, the question is would I be happy with the racelight T or should I push the boat out for a racelight TK. Mmmm. Thank goodness this purchase is on a cycle to work scheme!

Origamist,

I've heard good things about focus, but there are no dealers near here on cyclescheme as far as I am aware.

Landslide,

I don't think it will go very far, as there are no wheels....

CoG,

I think it was good for me to get an understanding of gear ratios, as I don't want to end up with a dud when I'm spending a lot of money (for me anyway!), oh and I can be a bit geeky!

I am really looking forward to tomorrow!

How do you think Maggers is getting on. Do you think he's still deciding what to wear or discussing the intricacies of how much bar space he needs for all his cameras?
