A copy of an advert. from the time should settle it, 50 ton (531) front end, 60 ton, 3 main tubes 80 ton (753) stays. View attachment 124751 t
(80 ton stays? Should hold my winter weight.)

A bit difficult to read but I think it says the stays are 85 ton (753) Interesting that Reynolds recommends against chrome-plating 753. The stays on mine are chrome-plated. Not sure what to infer from that.

Nice bike :okay:

I was born about a mile from their shop so I'm always pleased to see their products.
Ta. It'd be rude not to ride it home one time, apparently they've a bar in their workshop.

That's a stunning paint job

Thanks. All credit to Seabass Cycles, the detail is quite amazing with thin black borders between the orange and white.

They've put a couple of pictures on their instagram account here which are better quality than my one.

They were really good at talking through the build and the Daytona groupset is a genius find and sets it off nicely as do the black tb14 rims (to my eyes) which look sheer quality.

They've loaned me the C15 saddle for two or three weeks and if I get on with it ok I'll get some matching Brooks bar tape to complete the look.

Wow!

How does she go?
Stiff. And the frame transfers power efficiently too fnarr.

Shockingly good to be honest. Lively, smooth, felt totally in control from the off.

I'll be playing around with the saddle position over the next few days but size wise at 58 square with a 100 stem it feels just about spot on.

I think I'm very lucky.
