New bike euphoria...

Sorry just had to post as have just finished the first ride on my new steed. It was amazing! Only one down point...
My wife just doesn't understand. I stood explaining the fact that it climbs effortlessly, shifting is crisp, it's stupidly fast compared to my old bike...I even got her to pick it up so that she could share my glee with the fact that it weighs less than half as much as my old bike. She pretended to listen and then said, "I like the colour."

Theres nothing like the feel of a new bike, even if it is a similar standard to your older bike.

Glad the feeling is understood by both sides Zexel!!! Bike is a Specialized Sirrus Elite...not the most expensive bike, I know, but what I class as my first proper bike (had lots of 2nd hand or cheapest I could find before!). Just can't wait for tomorrow now and hoping for a dry day!
