New Bike Day!

Going to Decathlon tonight to pick up a Triban 540 as a new winter ride. Can't wait to get it home, mudguards on and to get some miles in this weekend!



In terms of value and quality I'm not sure if B'Twin can be beaten. I never see anyone riding them though which is kind of nice, it's nice not to all have the same old bikes. Lots of Giants and Cannondales round here (very nice bikes btw!).

I fancy one of those if I ever get the money together to buy a brand new bike. But I'll probably have to stick to 2nd hand market for now. Sometimes you see them for £450 which is top top value for money.

This is a C2W jobby. With a wedding coming up it was the only way I was allowed it!!

I just happened to go to decathlon this afternoon to pick up my eldest ' s Christmas pressie so had a look at one in the flesh. Tidy!

The bike is in the kitchen as we speak. Tonight will make some adjustments and swap the chainset and then I'll post the finished product!
