Despite having cycled for years, I've pretty much always used my steel tourer for touring and commuting.
So, to step astride this rocketship and put it through its paces, was a complete revelation and an absolute blast.
The Ultegra Di2 gears worked perfectly and the disc brakes required only the gentlest squeeze to slow the bike or bring it to a controlled stop and they've still yet to bed in properly.
The rims and tyres are tubeless ready, but came with inner tubes in, so my next job will be to convert to full tubeless. I've watched plenty of youtube videos about this and it all looks pretty straightforward.
Can't wait for another ride tomorrow....
Happy Days ^_^

Really lovely I was lusting after that, I thought it cam with SRAM in the red and black bike how did you wrangle the Shimano which was a better value bike IMO than the SRAM red. That is a massive leap from Steel to one of the lightest disc equipped bikes on the market!!

It's a 2017 model, so maybe colour scheme and specs slightly different from the 2016 models. The bike shop told me it was probably the first in the UK.
Not seen it advertised on any UK shops' websites, only a few continental ones, such as here.

oh bugger even more to resist!!! What is the weight do you know? Still sub 7kg I hope. Every bit of information I could find on the bike suggested it was smooth and a really nice ride. Hope you enjoy it, may ask how much it splintered the wallet? The bike you linked to is different to yours.

The decals are a bit different, but the specs are correct. Shop did me a very good deal, as while I was ringing up about a 2016 model which (I found out) they didn't have in my size, the Focus rep was visiting; they had a word with him/her and I was able to pay in full...... £3,200!
Haven't weighed it, but I've read UCI weight limit 6.8kgs minus pedals. Wouldn't be surprised if that's correct.

If be surprised if it were 6.8kg's with ui2 and disk brakes. Both carry a weight penalty over what's available. Nice bike though, considered one myself before going for something else in the end.
