The problem is there's no universally accepted standard for measuring a bikes weight. It's quite common to quote a weight without tubes and tyres, pedals, and even cables. Take published figures as total fiction unless they're making it clear that it's for a ride-ready machine.

Its only 25% more than a team GB track bike, but more than 25% more useable with gears & disc brakes
