Jeez, one of the reviews said one came with holes included - will have to check!

Nowt wrong with own-brand tubes. I usually buy job lots from either wiggle or decathlon if I'm passing. Tubes are pretty much disposable items around my way due to all the flint washed out of the hills and on to the roads.

Own brand tubes are fine. I think the only potential issue is with the valve, other than that all tubes are much of a muchness.

I got caught out once when I punctured and my spare tube's valve was faulty. So I give them a quick slight inflate when I buy them to check the valve. It means they don't quite fold down to the original size again but worth it to be sure the valve is OK

Lifeline have been fine for me, I usually bulk buy them. No valve issues yet. Planet X tubes on the other hand, I had a ten pack a few years ago of which 9 were pre-punctured with dodgy sealing around the valve.

I use tesco and decathlon inner tubes. I rarely get punctures. The tyre choice is far more important... Speaking of which, I use continental ultra sport tyres and Rubino pro's. Hardly Schwalbe marathons!
