I was like that: 18yrs old, 6' and 9.25 stone. 30 odd years on and metabolism has slowed to the point that I now touch 12 stone if I don't watch it.
It could be an age thing and the weight may catch up with you.
TBH, you look fine in the photo, why do you need the weight gain?

When I was in my teen to late 20's I was 5'8" and less then 9 stone. I was working doing hard physical work as an electrical contractor and my lunches were: Big Mac, 1/4lb with cheese, filet of fish, apple pie, large milkshake. Dinner was often 2lbs of steak and chips, I was also snacking on Mars bars and consuming a whole pack of chocolate digestives a day.

Now I am mid 40's 5'10" (No, the doctors still haven't figured out the height gain) and not much short of 14 stone and struggling to prevent any further weight gain despite eating a whole lot less food, and healthier food at that.

Skinny cyclists can get up hills faster. I'd just enjoy it while it lasts.

Why do you need to put on weight?

I've been between 8.5 and a bit over 9 stone since I was eighteen with a brief excursion to 10.5 when I drank too much. Now 52 and was recently weighed in hospital at 56 to 58 kg - around 9 stone. Climb hills pretty well and no tendency to 'bonk' on longer rides.
