Need Help Identifying Univega year/Model

I need help identifying this Univega, bought it used and fixed it up for fun but curious as to the year and model. Tried contacting Univega but the current owners have only been there from 2005 on and cannot identify older models.

I think that type of stem was known as a swan neck style. I had one like it on my 87 ish Dawes. Move on a year or two and they disappeared. The rear mech looks like a pre DX Deore?

In which case the numbers after the space give the number in the production run.

Thank you all for the help. I got it from a man used for 35$ and just had it tuned up and added the rest. I figured it'd be a fun project.

That is true classic33 , Money's not an issue it was more that I've been running for years and love it; the last few years I've been getting really bad pain in my feet so I started riding a bike to alternate and take less pressure off my feet.

Univega Rover is a nice bike. Rode one about that size for a while, until I got one that fit me.

Stuck in the photo contest thread, and looking at Reddit. I was also looking at old Univega Catalogs to see what the specifications were for the Rover, to see if that 24" wheel was stock. They made some mountain bikes that way. I used to commute on a Univega Via Carisma.

No, GM (The artist formerly known as Greenman) did, with a picture of the Churchill Statue and the Houses of Parliament. A fine entry, that.
