Need Help Finding Two Parts For a Trek 7500

Could the forum please help me figure out how to replace 2 parts that got lost in shipping my Trek 7500. One is the quill stem expansion bolt. The second is the black ring beneath it (don't know name, please see picture).

I was so careful shipping this bike from Texas to Oregon but the folks who packed it for me lost these two parts.

I did some searching online and talked to a bike shop but so far haven't been offered much hope. I'd hate to think that I lost my whole bike from these two parts.

Unlikely!

If I were you I would contact a Trek dealer.

If no joy for whatever reason I would remove the headset, measure the relevant dimensions of the head tube and the fork steerer, and get a new headset and stem with the help of a headset finder.

bolt - looks to me that an M6 hex socket head would fit - that is the bolt size used for aheadset - not what you got - but a siimilar bolt, mey be M5 - would fit. you have the wedge or was that lost?

lower ring - no idea.
