Hi all

Im currently gathering parts for a new build. It will be equipped with full Metrea set with the new type bullhorn bar Shift/Brake levers.

For that I am looking for a Road/Gravel/CX Flat Mount Disc Frame in size 54 preferably steel or Titanium, with a budget of about 1.000€, could go a little higher.

I really like the raw metal frame look as you find for example on Lynskey frames (They do not have flat mount Disc frames).

Anyone has a clue at what model or brands I could go looking at?

You won't find much, if anything, in steel or Ti for that budget. Probably more like €2000....Litespeed have just updated the T5 Gravel with flat mount.

Thanks I might push that budget, but €2000 will start to hurt a little

I had the Litespeed T5G 2016 on my list. Others I had in there too were Genesis equilibrium disc 931 and the Kinesis GF_TI DISC,Spin Speed Metal Flat Mount Disc, Kona Esatto Ti Disc

Ive never owned one but from reading through forums, it seems that Litespeed bikes have some quality issues these days.

T5G frameset is £1800 from Wiggle. Equilibrium Disc 931 (full bike) £2799. GF TI frameset £1800. You're going to either raise your budget or lower your expectations.
As for Litespeed's 'quality issues'- not these days. They did have problems under previous ownership (between the Lynskey family selling up and current owners ABG taking over) but those have been sorted. Mine is beautifully made.

Thanks StuAff, yes looks like I will raise my budget a little. Theres a shop not to far from me that has A T5G frameset 2016 model in store, so I might take a look at it.

Cheers
