XT brakes are way better than Deore ones - better eel to them - I always find the Deore feel a little spongy - they work fine but it's just the feel imo (others may disagree of course!)

I did buy the XT's for my flat bar but just wondered ?

Been impressed with the Scott Solace bikes with internally routed hydraulics that I've been putting together lately. The designer has obviously thought about the poor old mechanic. They have an inline connector at the front so swapping is just so easy.

I do have a minor problem with mine as the nylon cable holder at the bottom of the BB is only for mechanical brake fitting not hydraulic..needs further looking into?
