NCN7 surface Loch Lubnaig and Pass of Leny

Considering this on the tandem with road tyres. A couple of photos suggest surface is good quality packed gravel.

Can anyone with experience of this route advise?

Rode it last summer fully laden on marathons.
Decent quality surface all the way.
Where you headed afterwards?

The hairpins just before Strathyre might be a bit tasty on a tandem but that's a couple of minutes walk if you can't get round them without climbing off.

It's all hard packed gravel or tarmac up to the pass. Going down into Killin there is a rough section, or was last time I did it.
