Wahoo roam . I have a Wahoo bolt and love it . The roam is the newer version with a colour screen . Wahoo's are simply to use and just work
The newer Garmin seem to have got the touch screen sorted out .

Based purely on your criteria of battery life it seems like an etrex is the way to go as they use "normal" batteries that means spares can be carried easily and/or changed out before a long day.

However, GPS units are complex and all do not work in the same way - long life may mean other compromises which may or may not suit you.

A search will throw up discussions on the merits and otherwise of the different options.

I have had it since release so battery dosent hold its charge as good as it should
DC Rainmaker has extensive reviews on the various options

Can't you get a new battery fitted? Personally would go with the Wahoo Roam. A lot of people in our club are all dumping there garmins.

I have a Polar V650 which is pretty good and about the cheapest map-displaying system you'll buy IIRC..

That said I have absolutely zero experience of any of it's competitors, so will stake my claim here and now as "that dick who knows nothing but absolutely has to recommend the one product he owns"

On the off-chance you're bothered I'm happy to expand on the product further; otherwise on the interest of cost and sustainability I'd go with the other suggestions of replacing the battery in what you already have

I use an Elemnt Bolt, as above lasts for ages and I have the backlight on all the time. I use RWGPS for routes and sync them over before a ride.
Much better than my Garmin ever was.
