Well people name their pet animals....

My bikes are:
Tiddles, the Brompton
Emily, the Emmille
Ratrike, the recumbent trike based on a KMX
The Creature, the recumbent trike in bits that will be based on a number of unrelated parts

Nothing wrong with it, IMO, as it shows empathy, especially towards things that deserve it more then some people.
Being slightly autistic I can empathise more with animals and machinery then I can humans.

Whilst your empathy with animals over humans may be indicative of being slightly autistic, there is nothing slight about the level of nobbery involved in naming your bikes.

I've asked but they've not told me their names yet.... have to say it shows a remarkable rudeness on their part.

Were I to tell them their adopted names I doubt they'd be best pleased.

The Dawes should really be Diana... or possibly Freia.

The bike company went to the bother of giving mine names and they seemed quite keen on them, so much so they wrote them on the bikes themselves.

I'm no good at respraying bikes, so I'm gonna stick with those ones.

Got it in one! Fortunately, the paintwork is in poor condition, so after frightening a few horses with it, I'll give it a new lease of life with a much more subdued colour scheme.
