Cracking a solo.
Im not obsessing over anything and i didnt start the post…..lol
I assume you mean thread, and one thing that can be pretty much guaranteed, is you popping up if there's a sniff of a chance of criticising the area you were banned from. If this thread is still going in half an hour, the others that like to pile on will be along to join you.

Countdown to thread-lock, and/or clean-up aka deletion. Tick, tock....
Why bother with any meaningful contribution when you know what is going to happen?
Not a complaint BTW, just an observation. I'm quite happy to see these threads implode and disappear.

Oh some one got a bee in their bonnet about naca being closed still…….best thing that ever happened to CC, since i joined, was the banning of Naca…….

and i will say it again, as i have before, i wasnt banned from naca for anything i said or posted within that part of the forum.

Even if that was absolutely bang on, that is what the NACA forum separation was all about. It's a place for everyone with veins popping out of their foreheads whilst smashing their keyboards up at those they disagree with to go and hash out such discussion without disrupting the wider CC forum. A place to take on the reactionaries and trolls if you will. Sadly, we saw many difficult/hard fought topics spill out into the wider forum, often on unrelated benign topics disrupting it for everybody else. There is no doubt in my mind since the split, the forum is a friendly place for everybody...

That's really how you see anyone who ever dares to question the 'standardised' or majority view.??

I have to say I see far more naked aggression, and downright personal unpleasantness, over pretty much nothing at all, from some posters on here.

At least on NACA posters are having yes perhaps intense discussions, but about subjects that actually matter.

We're not trying to pretend otherwise.

Here it just seems to be that some folks can throw out reactionary jibes left right and centre.

But if challenged on it, even in the mildest way..

Then they'll either try to make out, oh they're only engaging in. "light hearted banter".

Or else accuse anyone who isn't their own highly "reasonable" self of being one of

"The usual suspects" ..

Yes of course they are ...

I couldn't disagree more with most of that, but the point is, why pretend that politics is not allowed, when we all know that it is not true?

No, that is how is see people conducting themselves on the forum at times and i made no distinction at all between views, parties, opinions or political groups and had/have no intention to.

I agree some people do conduct themselves in that way.

But it's just as often over other matters, not necessarily political at all.

Some people are just aggressive, in their manner, full stop.

Although how anyone imagines you can 'discuss' the budget without it becoming political in some way, is quite beyond me.
