Do you know I was about to post an almost identical thread !

Mine was a de rosa idol v cervelo S3. - The de rosa gets the nod on looks - But prefer to relaxed geometry of the s3. Another option is something like the Kuota Khydra disc which can can had for around £1800 now ! - problem is current best bike is Kuota.....

I clicked that De Rosa, when looking for a friend recently. If my bike Claim was at the point of being paid out, then I would have definitely bought that already. Very nice looking bike with cracking spec too.

Looks like I just answered my own question doesn't it! Still not entirely sure about the Idol though. Any views on it for racing?

Any other considerations 'If not the de rosa idol' - I love how it looks - but would seem to be very long in the top tube and not giving the upright position, which my advancing years I prefer.

I have a Cervelo C3 disc and can vouch for the overall quality of the build, comfort and handling. Clearly a different model but a great bike which has helped me improve my riding.
