My next door neighbour was chucking this out. Worth keeping?

My neighbour is mid-60s and the bike has not been used in a while, from the rusty chain. What do you think?

The brakes were Shimano Ultegra, derailleurs Shimano Tiara. Cheap pedals and gossamer ISIS crank. The wheels were missing (taken by the son, I think). I stripped it down to clean it.

Not worth a lot but could make an interesting project.

Mid 60s? Typo?

Looks much much more recent than that. And according to Wikipedia Trek didn't start til 76. And Two Wheels in Amblecote wasn't established until 77.

Could be a fun project. Or you may find the Ultegra parts re-sellable.

I'd love to say that I realised that all along.

But I was genuinely confused. Idiot.

No need to be hard on yourself; the wording was poor.
