I got the Carrera Vulcan set up earlier and took it for a little ride out after dinner. First thing I did was put the Double Fighter 2's back on, set the seat height and get it all comfortable. Checked the brakes and gears all selected, adjusted the controls, bar, tyre pressures etc. and went out for a spin.
So much different to the Phaze it's unreal. Gear selection is much, much nicer with the triggers as opposed to the grip shifts on the old bike, and braking performance is better too despite 'only' being on v-brakes.
Overall the bike feels bigger, I think the wider bars help with this. It feels faster too, but I didn't have the GPS on.
I'm going to take it off road tomorrow to see how I get on there too.
