Bazzer

Setting the controls for the heart of the sun.
Several styles to choose from; - flat legs, folding legs.
Aldi had some recently and up to last week my local store still had a couple left. Haven't noticed on the forum any particularly bad feedback about them, but I might have missed it.
I picked up one like this a while back. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/BIKE-BICY...d=100011&rk=5&rkt=10&mehot=pp&sd=121115647768
It does what it is supposed to do. The biggest potential disadvantage compared to a folder is, assembling/disassembling; although the arm can be pushed to one side to make it less inconvenient. It doesn''t particulalrly bother me as it is in the garage and is used minimum weekly for cleaning my bike and I park my bike under it. But for others, depending upon your space requirements, the feet could be a problem.

This is all you need. Robust, stable, very adjustable, folds up easily to a compact size, high enough to work on comfortably. This one has the quick release clamps too (easier than the screw down models)
The price is really good too.

I think that a bike stand...even a cheap one is one of the most beneficial bits of kit you can have in your workshop.

I have two, one bench mounted that is a bit low but allows me to sit on a stool and service the bike inside in the winter and a tall folder...that I use a whole lot more as it allows me to stand (in the sun) and fettle all day.
