What is that "shoes over the power lines" thing anyway. I've never been able to find out why. Is it from a movie?

Does anyone know?

Not something you want to see in your neighbourhood. It is supposed to be the way drug gangs mark their territory.

I'd been out with our dog, the grass in the field had recently been cut and there was grass all over the boots. Pair of Meindl Borneo's as well

Ba$tards round these parts nick anything - wouldn't even dream of leaving my boots outside. Last week, Scott, my next door-but-one neighbour had his MTB pinched from a (very) securely locked shed. The toerags didn't break in - just removed the shed window, climbed in, dismantled the bike and posted it out through the space where the glass was...totally calculated. I blame greed, music, celebrity and bone-idleness in all walks of life.*rant surfacing*...
I know your dog will not miss a walk though...

I had a pair of old (but nice) walking boots. After walking the dog yesterday I took them off and left them outside the front door, and promptly forgot about them. Some joker has taken them during the night.

See this a lot on the local estates, just assumed it was boredom playing its part with the local kids.
