Hi steve - no.
The impression that i get is that the general conscensus forum view is that is is kinda wrong to listen to anything while you cycle.
I sometimes listen to music but actually its quite nice just to have some peace and quiet.

I used find jazz with a bit of a beat and maybe a touch of Hammond was good for a spin, that or the Beastie Boys.

Almost all Drum & Bass is 170bpm, give or take a few, so if you pedal at half that speed it's a quite reasonable 85

I ride when listening to music (It's played from my phone speaker, please don't turn this into a headphone debate) and find that, though a few miles on decent paced music is good for fitness, it's a good idea to put some slower songs in there as well to give yourself the odd break.

Theme music was so good in those days, and come to think about, so was the telly!

On a related note, this morning during my commute, I noticed that for about 10 seconds or so, my heartbeat and bass drum were synchronised. If I'm honest, it freaked me out a little.

My boyfriend likes a website called podrunner for music to, well, run to - but he also uses their tracks when he's on the turbo trainer, so that might be worth investigating. (I prefer Beethoven for the turbo, myself, but then I am a little bit odd).

(Incidentally, he used to run with his headphones in a lot, but seems to have got out of the habit and says he prefers to listen to what is going on around him now.)

I did laugh when i saw the mention of "listen to when on the excersise bike" hahah yeah yeah.

Not turning into a headphone debate. But I do put one earphone in on quiet on my right ear so I can hear cars passing to my left. (If i was in UK it'd be in my left ear)

Usually just leave the mp3 player on random. Then a really cool song comes on and its like ooooh yeaaaah!! can give you a much needed lift sometimes!
